Volleyball Recap: Smith County Comes Up Short

Smith County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the East Robertson Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 9th.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10, 25-13.

Smith County's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for East Robertson, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smith County will take on Eagleville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Robertson, they will face off against White House-Heritage at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
