Basketball Recap: Canyon Skates Past Castaic with Ease

Canyon entered their tilt with Castaic on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They breezed by the Castaic Coyotes to the tune of 93-45. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.

Canyon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eric Kubel, who posted 23 points. The matchup was Kubel's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Yuhico, who put up 24 points.

Castaic lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Wesley Tucker, who had 12 points. Another player making a difference was Alvin Clark, who earned ten points.
