Basketball Recap: Jefferson Cougars vs. Washington Patriots
After losing to Washington the last time they met, Jefferson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Jefferson Cougars snuck past the Washington Patriots with a 52-46 win on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.
Despite the defeat, Washington saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jasiah King shot 43% from the field to rack up 15 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chet Gore, who posted six points.
