Volleyball Recap: Magnolia Sentinels vs. Santiago Cavaliers
Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Santiago Cavaliers. The Sentinels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cavaliers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.
Magnolia started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 19-25, 29-27, 25-16, 17-15.
Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Santiago, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-10 record this season.
