Volleyball Recap: Hill Country Christian Takes a Loss

Hill Country Christian suffered their biggest loss since August 9th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Regents Knights, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Rams seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Hill Country Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Regents work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 26-24.

Hill Country Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-1 record this season. As for Regents, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hill Country Christian will take on St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last. As for Regents, they will square off against Hyde Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
