Soccer Recap: Capistrano Valley Comes Up Short

Capistrano Valley managed to keep up with San Clemente until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Capistrano Valley Cougars lost 4-1 to the San Clemente Tritons. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Tritons recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Capistrano Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-3. As for San Clemente, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Capistrano Valley will welcome San Juan Hills at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. San Juan Hills will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Capistrano Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for San Clemente, they will be playing at home against Mission Viejo at 5:15 p.m. on January 29th.
