Conway faced Cabot in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wampus Cats came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Wampus Cats' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

While Conway was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-15.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Cabot, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-1.
