Conway faced Cabot in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wampus Cats came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Wampus Cats' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

While Conway was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-15.

Conway's loss came despite strong showings from Kensey Nichols and Olivia Frazier. Nichols had 13 digs and three assists, while Frazier had nine assists and five digs.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Cabot, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-1.

Conway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Wynne on the 11th. As for Cabot, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Central on the 9th.
