Soccer Game Preview: West Field vs. Box Elder

The West Field Longhorns will challenge the Box Elder Bees at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with West Field sitting on five straight wins and Box Elder on eight.

West Field's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Clearfield 1-0. That's two games straight that West Field have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Marissa Hatch, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Box Elder had just enough and edged out Fremont 3-2 on Tuesday.

Box Elder's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for West Field, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
