Basketball Recap: Thurgood Marshall Takes a Loss

Thurgood Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 64-22 loss at the hands of the Urbana Hillclimbers. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-12.

Peyton Mounce continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Urbana, going 10-for-17 en route to 27 points and three steals. That makes it 18 consecutive games in which Mounce has scored at least a third of Urbana's points. Another player making a difference was Addi Hegyi, who posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Thurgood Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Urbana, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Thurgood Marshall nor Urbana have any future games scheduled.
