Flag Football Recap: Burbank Takes a Loss

Burbank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by the Fairfield Falcons 39-0. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 737th, while the Falcons are ranked 249th).

Burbank's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Fairfield, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burbank is set to face off against their familiar foe Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Fairfield will square off against rival Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Falcons 8.2, the Warriors 12.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
