Basketball Recap: Colerain Takes a Loss

Colerain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lakota West Firebirds, falling 76-51. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-23.

Colerain's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Lakota West, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colerain will take on Middletown at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakota West, they will face off against Sycamore at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
