After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hamilton, Maxwell was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Biggs Wolverines. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in September, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Maxwell not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Biggs between 18 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-18.

Maxwell's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Biggs, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Maxwell will take on rival Portola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Biggs is set to challenge their familiar foe Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
