West Greene won the last time they faced Cherokee and things went their way on Monday too. The West Greene Buffaloes walked away with a 58-46 victory over the Cherokee Chiefs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buffaloes.

West Greene's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Cherokee, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Greene won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chuckey-Doak at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chuckey-Doak has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Cherokee, they and Greeneville will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Greeneville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Cherokee likes a good challenge.
