Basketball Recap: Santa Fe Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Antonio Hall and Camden Mcleod

Santa Fe was the 51-45 winner over Jordan Christian Prep when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Santa Fe Raiders received a blow on Sunday as they fell 73-58 to the Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (57), the Raiders still had to take the loss.

Santa Fe's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Camden McLeod, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 24 points, and Antonio Hall, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 17 points.

Santa Fe has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Jordan Christian Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Santa Fe has already played their next game, a 54-50 victory against Fort White on the 3rd. As for Jordan Christian Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 82-64 defeat against Downey Christian on the 7th.
