Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spring Creek). They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Debbie Smith CTE Academy Mavericks on Friday. The Spartans not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8, 2025 (when they won 12-2).

The team relied heavily on MaKenzie Morfin, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three doubles. She also brought in two RBI, marking her first of the season. Addy Dolfin was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Spring Creek's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Spring Creek wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-0 victory against Wooster on the 7th. As for Debbie Smith CTE Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 22-5 loss against Elko on the 7th.
