Baseball Game Preview: Bayonne Bees vs. Hudson Catholic Hawks

For the second straight game, Bayonne will face off against Hudson Catholic. The Bees will take on the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bayonne's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Hudson Catholic's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Bayonne is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Hudson Catholic 14-7 on Monday. The Bees haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

For Hudson Catholic's part, Sandy Antonio was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those runs marked the first that Antonio scored this season. Jose Suero was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Hudson Catholic is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. As for Bayonne, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
