Woodson came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Cross Plains Buffaloes by a score of 44-35.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jace Munoz, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 17 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Munoz has scored at least a third of Woodson's points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Malcuit, who posted six points in addition to 15 boards and six blocks.

Woodson's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Cross Plains, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8.

Woodson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-50 defeat against Midway on the 18th. As for Cross Plains, they have also already played their next matchup, a 58-40 loss against Huckabay on the 17th.
