Basketball Recap: Galesburg Christian Takes a Loss

After soaring to 59 points the game before, Galesburg Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 77-21 loss at the hands of the Faith Christian Falcons. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost eight in a row.

Isaiah Schuler was his usual excellent self, going 13 for 22 en route to 28 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists for Faith Christian. That makes it three consecutive games in which Schuler has scored at least a third of Faith Christian's points. Carson Bivins was another key player, going 7 of 13 on his way to 16 points and four steals.

Galesburg Christian now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Faith Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 20-2.
