Basketball Game Preview: Hartville Eagles vs. Logan-Rogersville Wildcats

The Hartville Eagles will face off against the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Hartville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 74-47 victory over Lighthouse Christian. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Logan-Rogersville entered their tilt with Lindbergh on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 63-49 win over the Flyers. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Flyers are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Logan-Rogersville is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Hartville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
