Basketball Recap: East Ridge Extends Winning Streak to Four

East Ridge waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Forest Lake Rangers, sneaking past 62-59. Given the Raptors' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Rangers are ranked 133rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Ridge is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Forest Lake, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Ridge will head out to square off against Woodbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodbury will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something East Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Forest Lake, they will take on Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Forest Lake is facing Park at the right time seeing as Park is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
