Basketball Recap: Patterson Comes Up Short

The Patterson Clippers were outmatched by the Edmondson-Westside Red Storm and fell 66-17. The loss continues a trend for the Clippers in their matchups with the Red Storm: they've now lost four in a row.

Patterson's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-4. As for Edmondson-Westside, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1-1.

Patterson won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against City College at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Edmondson-Westside, they are taking a road trip to challenge Forest Park at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
