Adding to the longest winning streak in Blue Water Area this week, Richmond beat Capac 35-6. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.

Almont took down Algonac 39-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Armada's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Trevor Holston threw for 26 yards and Sammy Matthews had 12 yards receiving. On the ground Greg Stark contributed 50 yards. Willie Stark helped Armada's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.

Stark provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Tigers lost to Yale. Stark's favorite target this week was Matthews, who caught 2 passes for 12 yards.

Stark was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 50 yards on 8 carries as Armada lost to the Bulldogs. Teammate Stark added to the ground attack by rushing for 41 yards.

Armada's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Holston has thrown for 345 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Matthews has 9 catches for 145 yards.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Croswell-Lexington takes on the Raiders. The Pioneers are currently in fourth, while Almont is in second.

Croswell-Lexington led Blue Water Area in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Imlay City.
