Basketball Recap: 18 Straight Home Wins for North Valleys

North Valleys extended their home winning streak to 18 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Annika Hester. The North Valleys Panthers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Wooster Colts 63-19 thanks in part to Hester, who went 11-for-19 to rack up 22 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most boards she has posted since back in November of 2023.

Another player making a difference was Ivy Williams, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Williams is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

North Valleys' record now sits at 21-4. As for Wooster, their loss dropped their record down to 5-14.

North Valleys wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-34 victory against Elko on the 10th. As for Wooster, they have also already played their next contest, a 65-23 defeat against Churchill County on the 10th.
