Baseball Game Preview: Liberty Bison vs. Poly Bears

The Liberty Bison will head out to face off against the Poly Bears at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Last Wednesday, Liberty didn't have quite enough to beat Arlington and fell 2-1.

Liberty saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexander Arteaga, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Riley Vogt also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Poly). Everything went their way against Beaumont last Thursday as Poly made off with a 9-3 victory. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Bears with their most commanding win of the season.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Poly, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
