Soccer Game Preview: Macomb vs. Princeton

The Macomb Bombers will head out on the road to face off against the Princeton Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Macomb managed to keep up with Galesburg until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bombers came up short against the Silver Streaks, falling 4-1. Macomb haven't had much luck with Galesburg recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Macomb's goal came courtesy of Taylor Mann, who's now up to seven this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Princeton fell just short of Byron by a score of 3-2. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Princeton couldn't quite close it out.

Macomb's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.
