Volleyball Recap: Catalina Foothills Takes a Loss

Catalina Foothills's tournament run continued when they took on Centennial on Friday. The Catalina Foothills Falcons fell just short of the Centennial Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Jayden Scholz and Dylan Rubio, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Kyle Senkerik and his 15 assists. Rubio was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Catalina Foothills now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Centennial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Catalina Foothills has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Durango on the 28th. As for Centennial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Sage Creek on the 28th.
