Basketball Recap: Houston County Takes a Loss

Houston County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 72-18 loss at the hands of the Veterans Warhawks. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 346th, while the Warhawks are ranked 69th).

Houston County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Veterans, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Houston County will take on Lee County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee County will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Houston County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Veterans, they will head out to square off against Bleckley County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
