Volleyball Recap: West Field Takes a Loss

West Field lost against Morgan back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Longhorns fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1. The Longhorns just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Leading Morgan to victory were Caleb Stephens and Ryker Field. Stephens had 11 digs and one block, while Field had seven digs. Stephens has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 20 times he's played.

West Field's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Morgan, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-8.

Looking ahead, West Field is taking a road trip to take on Bear River at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morgan, they will face off against Layton Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
