Volleyball Game Preview: Millennium Tigers vs. Casteel Colts

Millennium hasn't had much luck against Casteel recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Colts at 5:30 p.m. Millennium will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Millennium made easy work of Valley Vista and carried off a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Casteel faced Perry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Colts lost 3-0 to the Pumas. The loss continues a trend for the Colts in their meetings with the Pumas: they've now lost six in a row.

Casteel was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 19 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-19.

Millennium's victory bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Casteel, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-11-1.
