Justin Delaney posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Delaney and Clayton will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pleasantville at 4:00 p.m. The last time Delaney duked it out with the Greyhounds (back in April of 2024), the Clippers came out on top by a score of 17-7.
