Softball Recap: Trumann Takes a Loss

Trumann lost to Paragould on March 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trumann saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Carter, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Trumann's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Paragould, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5.

Trumann and Paragould will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wildcats see the field they'll take on Gosnell at 4:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Paragould, their break will end when they face Greene County Tech at 3:30 p.m. on the 31st.
