Baseball Recap: Miller Grove Takes a Loss

Miller Grove was the 10-3 winner over Campbell when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Miller Grove Hornets fell just short of the Campbell Indians by a score of 8-7 on Saturday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miller Grove now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Campbell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3-1.

Coming up, Miller Grove will challenge Harts Bluff at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday. As for Campbell, they will head out on the road to take on Sulphur Bluff at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sulphur Bluff's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Campbell's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
