Volleyball Recap: Angelina Valencia Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Humphreys Able Charter

Delta Charter won the last time they faced Humphreys Able Charter and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Dragons blew past the Legacy 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Delta Charter took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-5.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Delta Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Angelina Valencia, who had 14 aces. That's the most aces Valencia has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Cohen, who had 11 aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Delta Charter was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 37 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Delta Charter's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Humphreys Able Charter, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

As of now, neither Delta Charter nor the Legacy have any future games scheduled.
