The contest between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Mission Veterans Memorial falling 56-42. They have not had much luck with Los Fresnos recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Gio Galvan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Los Fresnos, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. The match was Galvan's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jj Salazar, who scored 8 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals.
Mission Veterans Memorial now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Los Fresnos, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Mission Veterans Memorial will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jubilee Brownsville at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Los Fresnos' road trip will continue as they head out to face Pace at 3:00 p.m. on December 1st.
