Volleyball Recap: Buffalo Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

While Buffalo didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-28), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They skirted past the Hempstead Bobcats 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Bison sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Jesse Brandes and Abigail Favors, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Piper Payne and her eight assists. Alexia Callaway controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Buffalo's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Hempstead, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Buffalo will head out on the road to face off against North Zulch at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hempstead, they will be playing at home against Somerville at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th.
