Volleyball Recap: Medina Valley Victorious

Medina Valley posted their closest victory since September 27, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Veterans Memorial Patriots. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Patriots on Friday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Liv Halbeisen paced Medina Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Halbeisen got some help from Alana Smith and her 26 assists. Finally, Kacey Farris kept Medina Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Veterans Memorial lost, don't look at Cameron Danaher. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and two assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Medina Valley and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Veterans Memorial, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.
