Softball Game Preview: Beamer Titans vs. Kent-Meridian Royals

Beamer is a perfect 8-0 against Kent-Meridian since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Beamer will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Kent-Meridian at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Beamer is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They lost 17-4 to Decatur.

Asialynn Solia was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Meanwhile, Kent-Meridian fell victim to Auburn Mountainview and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 22-0. The loss continues a trend for the Royals in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost five in a row.

Kent-Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Beamer, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.
