Soccer Recap: Coral Shores Comes Up Short

After flying high against Marathon last Friday, Coral Shores came back down to earth. The Coral Shores Hurricanes came up short against the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions on Tuesday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 465th, while the Stallions are ranked 117th).

Coral Shores' loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coral Shores wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 7-1 defeat against Westminster Christian on the 13th. Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) has also already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Key West on the 12th.
