Jett Walker Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Georgetown got the W thanks in part to Jett Walker playing the best football he has all season. Walker rushed for 404 yards while picking up 25.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 108 or more in the last six games he's played.

The win (which was Georgetown's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Walker and Georgetown will face off against Lake Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ty Blair Dazzles in East View Win

Ty Blair posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 274 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for East View: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

East View and Rouse are set to duel on Friday. Blair will face off against London Morgan, the Raiders' star quarterback. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Davion Peters was instrumental in extending Lake Belton's winning streak to four on Friday. Peters did his part (and then some), picking up 182 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 54 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries for the 'W'.

For the year, Peters has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 55 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two receiving touchdowns.

Bryson Coleman Turns in Season-Best Performance

Sadly, Bryson Coleman posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Chaparral over East View on Friday. Coleman rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 263 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Chaparral is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. Coleman and Chaparral will be playing at home against Glenn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

London Morgan Delivers Electric Effort Vs Leander

Rounding off our Top Five is London Morgan of Rouse. Morgan threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

The win got Rouse back to even at 4-4. They and East View are set to duel on Friday.
