McCallie had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the six-goal drubbing they dealt Fort Payne on Monday. The Blue Tornado were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Wildcats. The result was nothing new for McCallie, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

McCallie is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five matches. As for Fort Payne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14-2 record this season.

McCallie will host Baylor at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Fort Payne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
