Volleyball Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks

On Monday, Everett earned a 3-1 victory over Marysville Getchell. The win continues a trend for the Seagulls in their matchups with Marysville Getchell: they've now won three in a row.

Everett's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Ava Urbanozo, who had 14 digs, three aces, and one block, and Grace Regan-Bone, who had seven aces and six digs. What's more, Urbanozo racked up 55 assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, Marysville-Pilchuck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Stanwood.

Marysville-Pilchuck's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Everett, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everett came out on top in a nail-biter against Marysville-Pilchuck in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Seagulls repeat their success, or do the Tomahawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
