Mundelein waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Waukegan Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mundelein not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Waukegan between 18 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19.

Kevin Mann paced Mundelein's offense, picking up eight kills. Mann got some help from Zack Nocera and his 25 assists.

Mundelein's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Waukegan, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Mundelein wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against North Chicago on the 19th. As for Waukegan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Huntley on the 19th.
