Softball Recap: Bishop Shanahan Takes a Loss

If Bishop Shanahan was riding high fresh off their 12-1 takedown of Kennett last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Coatesville Red Raiders on Monday, falling 14-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Red Raiders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Bishop Shanahan's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Coatesville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Bishop Shanahan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 defeat against Sun Valley on the 22nd. As for Coatesville, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 victory against Oxford on the 22nd.
