            Softball Recap: Seattle Prep Panthers vs. Bishop Blanchet Bears        
        
		
        
        
            Seattle Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  an  11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Blanchet Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  5-1  back in March.
  Hayden Downer was cooking despite her team's loss,   firing off two  home runs, three  runs,  and three  RBI while going 3-for-3.  Libby Jenness also deserves some recognition as  she  scored her first  run of the season.
Seattle Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Bishop Blanchet,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 9-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seattle Prep will challenge Holy Names Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Holy Names Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.53  runs per game on average), something Seattle Prep will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bishop Blanchet, they will face off against Cascade Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
