Central Columbia made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Athens, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bluejays fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 8-6 on Sunday. The Bluejays' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Central Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Athens, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0-1.

Coincidentally, Central Columbia and Athens will both be playing Berwick the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
