River Falls had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes. The Wildcats not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0).

River Falls walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21, 25-18.

Amelie Pankonin paced River Falls' offense, picking up 11 kills. Pankonin got some help from Anika Schwartz and her 15 assists. Olivia Doerre and Brooke Dusek kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

River Falls' win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Eau Claire Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

River Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Burlington on the 19th. As for Eau Claire Memorial, they will face off against Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
