Game recap: Norcross High School Football Team beats Peachtree Ridge

NORCROSS, Ga. - Norcross (Ga.) nabbed the lead on a touchdown run by A.j. Bush with 1:00 left in the fourth quarter to beat Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, Ga.) 24-20 on Saturday.

The Blue Devils led 17-14 at halftime, but the Lions recaptured the lead on a field goal by Evan Pantels with 8:00 remaining in the third.

The defeat comes as a step back for Peachtree Ridge, which notched a 38-13 victory over Mountain View in its previous outing.

In a AAAAAA Region 7 game next week Norcross (7-2) takes on Meadowcreek, and Peachtree Ridge (6-2) will go up against Meadowcreek also in a AAAAAA Region 7 game.
