Volleyball Recap: Los Osos Extends Winning Streak to Five

Los Osos extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 18-5. They put the hurt on the St. Lucy's Regents with a sharp 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Grizzlies have posted against the Regents since October 3, 2022.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Los Osos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Taylor, who had 12 digs and five kills. Taylor has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Josslyn Jacks, who had 13 kills, nine digs, and two aces.

Los Osos was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Lucy's only served four.

As for St. Lucy's, they now have a losing record of 10-11. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with Los Osos: they've now lost three in a row.

Several Regents players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mya Moshrefi, who had 28 digs and five kills.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Los Osos is set to challenge their familiar foe Etiwanda at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Lucy's will square off against rival Rancho Cucamonga at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
