Softball Recap: Pine Bluff Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pine Bluff's offense. They came up short against the Sheridan Yellowjackets on Tuesday, falling 18-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Zebras' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pine Bluff's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Sheridan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Pine Bluff is set to take on their familiar foe El Dorado at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sheridan will challenge rival Lake Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
